Questions?
We Have Answers.

What does the warranty cover? plus
If you didn’t get what you expected, we’ll make it right. Now, if you decided to wire the transformer backwards or drop it off the side of a truck, that would not be covered in the warranty—but we would still see what we could do to help. For all the fine-print that will keep your attorney busy, see the Warranty Details on our Terms & Conditions page.
Can I purchase an extended warranty? plus
Yes, you can purchase an extended warranty for 2% per year, with a maximum warranty of up to 5 years total.
Can CORE repair my existing transformer? plus
Absolutely. Check out our Transformer Repair page for a full process breakdown. We can complete most jobs within just a few days or weeks, depending on the complexity of the repair.
Can CORE modify my existing transformer? plus
It would be our pleasure. We frequently modify our stock units and customize our customers’ units to suit specific projects, even on tight deadlines. Check out our Transformer Customization page for more details.
Does CORE sell spare parts? plus
Sometimes, the easiest way for us to help you means selling a bushing, gasket, part, or piece to keep your project moving. And while we’re not technically in the business of selling parts, we’ll always see what we can do to help our existing customers.
Does CORE ship internationally? plus
We do, and we’d be happy to help coordinate an international shipment. Or, we can facilitate a delivery to your local freight forwarder.
Are emergency and holiday shipments available? plus
Our normal office hours follow most holidays, but our team is available 24/7/365 for customer emergencies. Please note that orders that have been taken or shipped after hours, on weekends, or on holidays, though, will incur additional emergency fees.
Can I have the transformer painted a different color? plus
As long as it’s not USC Gamecock Garnet Red (Go Tigers!), we should be able to accommodate. You can talk to one of our sales associates for more info.
Does the free shipping include a dedicated truck? plus
Our free shipping does not include a dedicated truck. Most transformers are quoted with free delivery anywhere in the lower 48 states, with a few exceptions for extra-large specialty units. These are not dedicated loads, but frequently ship within 24–72 hours of the order receipt.
Can I arrange my own pick-up or drop-off? plus
Absolutely. Most of our orders include free freight anywhere in the lower 48 states, however, you are welcome to arrange your own freight and our team will happily load your truck at no extra cost.
Can specific labels be applied to the unit? plus
Not a problem. Just be sure to coordinate with your sales associate when placing your order.
Are CORE transformers autobots or decepticons? plus
If they ever start talking or walking, please submit a warranty claim. For now, they’re 100% focused on uptime and reliability.
What kind of equipment is needed to offload the transformer? plus
Most dry-type transformers, approximately 500 kVA and below, will be loaded and secured to a pallet and shipped LTL for easy unloading. Transformers larger than 500 kVA are typically loaded directly onto a flatbed truck and may require removing bolts from the front cover in order to access lifting points within the enclosure. If you have any concerns, our team can verify shipment configuration before your units arrive.
